Online teaching-learning is increasingly common. Today, millions of students at all levels access digital learning – both inside and outside the walls of their schools. While many think of online schooling as geared solely toward high school and beyond, elementary school students can also benefit from supplemental or fully online school programs. There are very few school management systems available that target the elementary school students. This project entitled “Kinder” is an online school management system, especially designed for such students.
Every school has a different way of organizing their classrooms but there is merely any system to monitor the activities of elementary school students. So, we created a centralized platform where the activities of those students can be monitored or tracked easily. This would certainly help the parents to know about the current status of their children, keep track of their school activities and progress, and also communicate with the teachers about their kids’ performance.
Similarly, the teachers also have an easy way to inform the parents online about their child’s problems, without having to invite them over to talk, which is rather time-consuming, such that the parents can deal with the problems efficiently and easily. To sum up, this project is fully focused on managing the schooling of younger students with parents-teachers collaboration.
The world today is not the same as it was a year ago or a while back. The coronavirus pandemic has confronted the world with an unprecedented situation, and it has compelled the educational institutions all over the world to switch to virtual teaching and learning. So, this project was our small effort with an aim to help the elementary school students even in an unprecedented situation like this.
